Compliance
The practice is fully compliant with instrument sterilisation. We believe in reprocessing our instruments to reduce environmental wastage. Our clinic uses an ultrasonic cleaner, manual scrubbing, followed by a steam steriliser in accordance with the Australian Standards Mark AS 5369. This is further enhanced with a performance recorder which logs – sterilisation dates, times and temperatures of all cycles and stores electronic records of our steriliser’s performance. The steriliser is calibrated electronically every 12 months. We are satisfied that all sets of instruments have complete sterilisation for each patient as all sets are packaged and sealed individually in our rooms.
